A Better Kinda Weekend.

Hello precious readers.
My weekend is coming to an end.
As you know, I went to Living Proof LIVE! Friday and Saturday.
I am actually listening to my songs that I recorded of Travis {Cottrell} singing.
He has an amazing voice and he let the audience sing alot, too. It was beautiful.
He had to go to the doctor, because he was sick! You couldn't tell till Beth told us.
Beth Moore. I love that woman.
Her topic was better {Like the word. Not that is was better than usual...Just to clarify}.That word will never be the same. Ever.
I have went to my notes A BILLION times since then of course, but when I was getting ready to right this blog I counted the times it said better. {I highlighted every better on the pages.} 41 times we wrote it. 6 million times we said it over the course of two days. Maybe not, but you get the picture.
The first night of LPL {Living Proof Live} we sat in the back left corner.
On Saturday we sat {sorta up high} in the front left corner. It was awesome.
Friday night Beth Moore went in the crowd to hug every one that had sent her a letter
that said they were coming, right? So then, on Saturday since we were closer we could see her in the front row singing. In the middle of worship she was looking up at us for awhile. Then she whispered to her body guard and pointed up towards us. We figured she would come, but personally...I couldn't believe it.
Indeed, she came right up to us. I have like eight pictures of her coming up, standing blow us, and then beside us. On a picture blog cometime you will get those.
{Honestly, I don't know wherre my memory card is momentarily :) }
She came and sat in our row!!!! The woman {she wasn't in our group} sitting closest to me on my right talked about what God had shown her in Friday nights message.

So let me put in perspective for you {I have been waiting to type this since it happened} She was so close to us that we could hear her speak and then hear her words echo through the speakers.

I was thinking about you guys all weekend. I even wrote several notes to you on my phone.

I am done packing and it is only 11:30... We don't leave until 1ish and I have nothin' much to do... Except write to you of course....I will leave a note l8r. MAYBE. hopefully. Lincoln here we come!!

IM SO SORRY I haven't been the greatest Blogger. I truly feel bad.
I have been sleeping in our guest bedroom and have not been in the routine of reading, reading, AND blogging, but now after  moving my room upstairs with a comfier {is that a word :P} bed {Why do I find myself blogging about cuddly pillows and comfy beds all the time?} and such Im blogging!

So, like seriously... Do ya'll know who Bethany Hamilton is?
Well, her story is what the movie ''Soul Surfer'' is based on.
I have been reading her Devotional Book and last night one Devo was about Mark 14 when Mary gave Jesus perfume. Then, tonight I read about Mary again. So, tonight I am going to share a verse that I liked.

Mark 14:6

New International Version

   ⁶ “Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

First of all I love that the older guys were picking on her and Jesus told them to leave her alone. My husband is amazing. Just sayin'.

 Then, he says ''She has done a beautiful thing to me.'' Sigh.

Do you do things that Jesus would consider pure, gorgeous, and holy?

What beautiful thing could you do for Him?

Marys was to give Jesus perfume...Serving Him with that symbol. Which beautiful thing has your name written all over it?

A Few Beautiful Things:

Witnessing.
Praying.
Serving.
Smiling.
Making someone laugh.
Singing Praise.
Reading The Bible.
Even pouring perfume on Jesus' head.

VBS has been awesome this week! I was part of the ''Panda Preschool Music Team'' and an assitant crew leader. It was a blast. I was excited for it to be here and glad for it to leave. Our program on Sunday will be fun, too.

Cuddly Pillows and The Rhubarb Fest

Ya know how most people find a verse that jumps off the page or literally {O.k. not literally, but in your head}
paints a picture? Well, I have many,but one is this.

O.k. so I have been on vacation. It has been W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.
Ya know, last time I went on a trip I slept on the most uncomfortable bed EVER? Well, this time I have slept
in the MOST comfortable bed EVER!!! { ''The more I feel that you are hear, the more the world disappears...''  I am singing :) Just thought I'd share.}  Tonight is my last night in it before I give it up {unwillingly I will
have you know} It is truly depressing that I have to leave it. But it isn't the only thing about this trip that
is radical...I just want to share about my nights of not tossing and turning. Oh, and since we went on the train
{which was awesome, too.} we slept in a hotel the night before and I slept with those really cuddly pillows.
It was AWESOME! This week, I have been coloring { : P }, Watching movies, shopping, and hangin' out at the
grandparentals.
We are hanging out at the Rhubarb Fest tomorrow and Saturday :)
I am enjoying every second of Summer and my vacations. Sigh.

So, I am home now. We got home from our church VBS and I am going to clean my room this afternoon { fun,fun }. O.k. so like I was talking about the Rhubarb Fest. I realized that you don't know what that is {Hehe}....Aledo, Illinois is ''The Rhubarb Capitol Of The World'' and that is where my Mom grew up and where my Grandparents and other family live. The Festival started with some ladies wanted something for the community to do together...It started in someone's back yard and it has now moved to the Central Park {In Illinois...Just to clarify}  and the courthouse yard.
